Three weeks and counting. That is how much time has gone by since my last treatment. Next wednesday I will go have my medi-port flushed. My body already feels better and now it is time to move forward.

  The magical date is arriving next week. I'm so thrilled and feel as though it would never come. But here it is, two more treatments , the big day being February 10th. The year has been very long and tiring. My body is worn and needs some TLC.

Yeah!!! The New Year is finally here and hopefully it will be a good one for all. The month of December was to busy and hope to rest up some. I'm starting the job search all over with a positive mind and look forward to finishing my Herceptin.

It is hard to imagine the year is almost over. Besides the economy, my family has made it through a really challenging time. I thank God everyday for our good fortune. Thanksgiving was very enjoyable. Plenty of good conversations and food. I decided not to join in on the Black Friday activities. Now it is just a matter of a few weeks until Santa comes to visit.

My doctors appointment went very well. Blood work was good. I will go back in six weeks to see my oncologist. I have an Echocardiogram scheduled for Thursday Nov. 24th, followed by a mammogram on Monday. Thanksgiving has a very personal meaning for my family and I this year. We are so Blessed and Thankful.
