NHS plays Pace at 4 p.m.

Navarre High School's baseball team will play Pace at 4 p.m. today at Tate High School in the semifinals of the Florida High School Athletics Association District 1-6A tournament. The winner will play the winner of the Tate-Escambia matchup at 7 p.m. tonight for the district title.

NJROTC Unit No. 1 in Region

The Navarre High School NJROTC Unit was selected as the best unit in Area 8 that encompasses 51 units in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Softball season ends in extra innings

The Lady Raiders’ softball team easily defeated Washington in the opening round of the District 1-6A tournament April 16 at Milton. Two days later, the same Navarre High School bats that scored 15 runs in two innings against the Wildcats were virtually silent against Pace as the Raiders lost 1-0 in a pitcher’s duel.
