The Navarre Garden Club celebrated its 35^th anniversary with a ribbon cutting, welcoming guests to its signature event, the annual flower show, at the Navarre Library Thursday.

Santa Rosa County awarded $500K from BP tourism grant

Santa Rosa County will see a piece of the $25 million advertising grant awarded to Florida in order to boost tourism, which took a nose-dive since the Deepwater Horizon oil-rig explosion in April.

Pier opening scheduled for Saturday, June 5

The Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners, Ed Waters and Sons Contracting Company and PBS&J will host a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 5 to open the long awaited new Navarre Beach Pier. The public is invited to attend the event in front of the pier located at 8579 Gulf Boulevard. At 1,545 feet, the pier is the longest in the State of Florida and the Gulf of Mexico.
