The Catholic Church has one. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has one.

Even the atheist, agnostic and self-described “non-religious” population has one.

With more than 500 million active users on Facebook, it’s no wonder churches across the world are turning to the popular social networking site to reach out to their communities.

Pandolfi seeks new golf challenge

It didn’t take long for Jennifer Pandolfi, a 2004 Navarre High School graduate, to establish herself as one of the best young golf coaches in the region. The University of West Florida hired “Dolf” in February to lead its women’s team; in April, the Gulf South Conference honored her as its 2010 Coach of the Year.

The Munchausen mystery

It’s the stuff mysteries are made of.

Medical mysteries, that is.

Though its incidence is rare, one local doctor said the diagnosis is very real – and can be quite scary.

It’s called Munchausen syndrome, though those in the medical field call it a factitious disorder.

Sheriff's Office investigating two murders in Milton

Two bodies were discovered in the brush of a rural roadway just north of Milton yesterday.

A passerby called deputies when they noticed a large amount of blood in the roadway of Jesse Allen Road around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Navarre Raider Swim Team Freestyle Meet with PHOTOS

Navarre Raider Swimmers cheered each other on Saturday, September 18 at Hunter Pool in Pensacola. Navarre Raider girls placed second only to Niceville by 8 points. Pace girls were third with six points less. Navarre Raider Boy swimmers came in third behind Choctaw and Washington High Schools. Photos are HERE.

Rollover: Seat belts prevent serious injuries

A family of five from Melbourne suffered minor injuries Thursday when the sport utility vehicle in which they were riding struck three vehicles and rolled onto its roof at the intersection of State Road 87 and U.S. Highway 98.
