Navarre High School students are changing lives, one book at a time.

Around 62 students from the school coordinated and participated in the inaugural Book Bridge project, an initiative that aims to deliver books -- and promote literacy -- in Mongolia.

The students have collected more than 3,000 books so far.  Their goal is 15,000 by the end of the year.

Controversy surrounds crime, contracts at Navarre Beach Pier
