Navarre Xpress maintains high level of success

Navarre Xpress athletes roll into practice at Soundside on a Wednesday evening in early July, toting water bottles and already sweating because of how hot and humid it is.

It takes commitment to be out here, but the athletes have stuck to it, and it has paid off as this local track club continues to succeed nearly a decade later.

It was a fun run for the United States Men’s National Team while it lasted. The country seemed to come together for a couple of weeks earlier this summer to cheer on the team in the World Cup.

Another high school season is approaching, and Senate Bill 538, which was passed earlier this year, will have an impact on it. The bill is aimed at controlling the wild west aspect of high school athletics.
