Raider soccer trounces Milton 8-0

With the wind howling, the temperature in the low 30s and a field sloppy after two days of rain, the Raiders mercifully ended Milton High School’s night early with an abbreviated 8-0 win at Navarre Dec. 11.

Navarre defender Matt Brewer set the tone in the third minute when he picked up a rebounded shot by Mitch Haywood near the 40-yard line, dribbled in a couple of steps and booted a long shot that barely rolled over the goal line for a 1-0 Navarre lead.
