The Raiders’ defense forced four second-half turnovers and Kwamane Howard rushed for 192 yards and two scores in an 18-9 win Friday against arch-nemesis Gulf Breeze.
“It was a big win for us and a big win for our seniors, ” first-year Raiders coach Chad Lashley said after the game at Navarre’s Bennett C. Russell Stadium. “It’s always good to beat our rivals, and winning the last game is a huge win to springboard us into our off-season program.”
