Navarre advances to region final

Here come the Raiders

The Navarre Raiders improved to 11-1 and punched their ticket to the Region 1-6A final by outlasting the Milton Panthers 20-12 Friday in a rough-n-tough battle between Santa Rosa County high school football rivals.

“There’s no question, (the game) was very physical,” Navarre coach Jay Walls said. “There was a lot of hitting out there. It’s the second round of the playoffs, and you could tell all the kids on both sides were playing that way.”
