Football invades Bayfront

The 2012 Soul Bowl will feature the first football games played at Bayfront Stadium, home of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos professional baseball team, beginning at 8 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 20).
A full slate of games between the Gulf Coast Youth Sports Alliance youth football program’s East Pensacola Rattlers, Jay Royals and Pensacola Tigers is planned at the stadium, which opened earlier this year at Community Maritime Park off West Main Street on Pensacola Bay.
The annual celebration will feature soul food, vendors and music. Admission is $6 for anyone older than 12.
