The Navarre boys cross country team will advance to the regionals this Saturday, Nov. 15
Navarre’s Zak Boston led the 100+ pack of boys for 2500 of the 3000 meter 2008 FHSAA District Cross Country Meet on Nov 8. The district meet was a great prelude to the intense regional and state competition unfolding in our area. The district meet was won by defending state champion Matt Mizereck with a time 15:44.27, with Boston placing 3rd at 15:50.59. Navarre runners came though with a 5th place finish to secure a slot at the Regional competition on 15 Nov at Chiles High School. They were Robby Mann 16:54.94, Cody Haden 17:07.42, Callen Nation 17:35.59, Seth Nydam 17:44.45, Jordan Lanter 17:53.69 and Vini Febus with 17:57.27. Navarre boys Cross Country runners all placed in the top 50% of the 110 boy field and should perform well Saturday at Chiles.
