Navarre High School beat Escambia in four sets Tuesday at home to snap a two-game volleyball losing streak.
The Raiders improved to 8-2 in District 1-6A action and 10-5 overall with the 20-25, 25-16, 25-17, 25-24 win. Navarre will host Pace in a key district rematch at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The Patriots beat the Raiders in four sets Sept. 11.
Allison Freer led the Raiders’ effort with 30 digs, six service aces and three kills and Kelly Barrett added 33 assists and 14 digs. Kelsey Belmain chipped in 13 digs, 10 kills and five aces, Miranda Gagnon had 23 digs, Sarah Betts had 13 digs and eight kills, Shamani Booker blasted 12 kills and garnered 14 digs, and Kiera Foster added seven kills.
