CRESTVIEW – The Crestview High School Lady Bulldogs swept Navarre in three sets in a non-district volleyball match Monday, 25-15, 25-17, 25-23.
The loss dropped the Raiders’ record to 8-3 overall. NHS is 6-1 in District 1-6A action.
Kelly Barrett had 12 assists and five digs in the losing effort. Sarah Betts added seven kills and three digs, Allison Freer had 13 digs, Kelsey Belmain had eight digs, Shamani Booker five kills and Miranda Gagnon five digs.
Navarre returns to district play tonight when it hosts Pensacola. The varsity is scheduled to play at 6:30 p.m. at the NHS gym. The freshmen teams will play at 4:30 p.m., followed by the junior varsity squads at 5:30 p.m. The Raiders JV and varsity will play another district match at Tate at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday.
