Navarre used defense, special teams and one memorable drive to beat Pensacola-Washington on Aug. 31 in the season-opening high school football game for both schools.
“We played great on defense and we played great on special teams, that swung the momentum for us and got us going,” said first-year Raiders’ coach Jay Walls. “We played well at times on offense, but we still have some work to do.”
