Other than penalties and turnovers, Navarre head football coach Jay Walls was pleased with his Raiders’ performance.
“We played very hard,” Walls said after Milton’s varsity outscored Navarre 15-7 in a preseason football kickoff classic Thursday at the Raiders’ Bennett C. Russell Stadium. “We made some good plays on offense and on defense and we made a lot of mistakes. The good news is all of the mistakes are things we can fix.”
