Navarre girls finish season with win over Escambia

Navarre High School’s Lady Raider golfers closed out their regular season at Hidden Creek with a decisive 213-251 win against visiting Escambia last Monday.  The team was scheduled to open district championship play Oct. 13 at the Fort Walton Beach Municipal Pines Golf Course.

“Our goal will be to at least capture third place so that the  team can advance to regional play,”  said coach Tish Boozer.  “Our top four players all shot in the 50s against Escambia on our own course, but we will have to at least drop two scores down into the 40s if we want to advance as a team.”
