Lady Raider’s golf team wins first match of the year

The Navarre High School Lady Raider golf team scored their first victory of the year, with a win over West Florida High Washington, and Escambia High, on Oct. 6. Playing on their home course—Hidden Creek---the Lady Raiders edged runner up West Florida 214-220.

Leading the Raiders to the victory were Danielle O'Connor 49, Elizabeth Carbajal 54, Brooke Murphy 55, Jessica Emerson 56, and Dianarra Arceo 61.

"We are obviously excited about the win. Danielle (O'Connor) had one of her best scores all season. It was a long day, but I am happy for the ladies!" said Coach Tish Boozer.

The Lady Raiders were scheduled to return to action today, Oct. 13, with a match at Tiger Pointe against Gulf Breeze.
