On paper it looked liked the match was no contest. The winless Navarre High School girls volleyball team traveled to Milton on Sept. 6 to take on the undefeated Panthers.
It was anything but an easy match as the Raiders gave the Panthers all they could handle in a close four game set. Unfortunately, the Raiders had nothing but another loss to show for the stellar effort.
The Panthers quickly learned that the Raider record did not indicate how good their team is or how hard they play. Three of the games were decided by two points and one game by three points. The close scores indicated how hard the Raiders played, but it was small consolation in light of their fourth straight loss
