Hurricanes land second-place finish

The 11-Under Navarre Hurricanes baseball team finished in second place at the USSSA AA World Series in Panama City last week.

In 10 games at the series, the Hurricanes lost only twice to the champions Jacksonville Blueclaws.

Will Sawarynski, catcher for the Hurricanes, was named the    “Defensive Player of the Tournament.”
