Lady Raider golfers defeat West Florida, finish sixth in FCA tourney

The Lady Raiders finished in sixth place in the 12-team Fellowship of Christian Athletes tournament at the A.C. Read golf course Tuesday after topping West Florida, 238-256, at Hidden Creek on Monday.

10_9_ladygolf_text.jpgGulf Breeze ran away with the win in the 18-hole FCA tournament with a 342 score followed, by a 350 from runner-up Niceville. Navarre’s 417 was well behind district opponent Fort Walton Beach, which shot a 378, but within striking distance of Choctaw’s 403.  The Lady Raiders finished behind Catholic’s 406.
