Navarre Lightning sweeps Mobile Spring Classic Soccer Tournament

Navarre Lightning, the 15-year-old-and-under boys team from the Navarre United Futbol Club, ended their season on May 14 -15.

They won the prestigious Mobile Spring Classic Soccer Tournament at the University of South Alabama, defeating four ranked teams.

“Winning the tournament was a real team effort,” coach Rob Simon said. “Playing four games over two days meant that everyone on the team needed to contribute, and they did.”

Navarre started the tournament with a close 2 – 1 win over the Mobile Dynamos.
