Every kid who ever tossed a Nerf football spiraling across his backyard probably imagined, if only for a moment, that he could be his generation’s great quarterback. For most, it’s just a dream; for Jeff Van Camp, it could be a dream come true.
“Really, growing up, this was the dream, to go play in the NFL,” said Van Camp, a Gulf Breeze resident and 2006 Navarre High School graduate who played quarterback at Florida Atlantic University from 2006-2010. “I didn’t know then if it would be possible, but I’ve worked hard for this for a long time, I’ve dedicated myself to football and now I’m in a position to see that pay off.”
