The Navarre High School swim team participated in its first meet of the season Sept. 25 at the Washington Aquatic Center, and the team’s coaches were happy with the performances by their athletes.
“We have participated in some practice meets but this was our first meet, and we did well,” said Dawn Gullickson, who coaches the team Lauris Joyner.
The girls finished in second place and the boys took home third.
