Led by freshman Trey Aguirre’s 38, the Navarre Raider golfers edged a strong Washington team 160-163 while also besting Tate, 169 and a young Escambia team, which shot a 216.
“The win was good for our morale, but we still haven’t managed to break the 160 stroke barrier so far this season,” said coach David Noles. “When we do, and I’m pretty sure we will, we’ll be a lot more competitive against strong district competitors Milton and Fort Walton.”
