Alex Herman MVP at Subway All-Star soccer game

The Navarre Raiders sent nine players to the Subway All-Star Soccer Game in Pensacola on Feb 25.
Five Lady Raiders were picked to play in the girls’ game, which began at 6 p.m.: Madison Rodwell, Alex Herman, Kelly Hayes, Chantel Sheets and Kendryx Aldrich. The boys played shortly after the girls’ game, with Navarre’s Mitch Hagood, Derek Borgsteede and Steven Householder.
The Raiders played on the East squad, and Alex Herman was named Most Valuable Player of the girls’ game. The East squad won their contest 2 – 0 as Herman scored once and set up the second goal with an assist.
The East team lost the boys’ game by a 5 – 1 score.
