Raiders bow to Escambia 55-44 in district tourney

The Navarre Raider basketball team opened play in the 1-5A district championship tournament at Tate High School Tuesday with a hard fought, 51-47, win over the Pace Patriots.
The win earned them the right to face Escambia Friday in the semi-finals, but despite a strong 19-point effort by swingman Savon Bracey, Navarre was eliminated, 55-44.
