Following its best season in history, the Navarre Raiders received their first post-season honors, as eight players were named to the East squad for the 2010 Subway High School All-Star Football Game Presented by the Andrews Institute. Last week, the Pensacola Sports Association announced the rosters for the seventh annual all-star game, which will be played Dec. 17, 7 p.m., at the Woodham Middle School Stadium in Pensacola.
The eight Raiders are the most from any one school on the East team. Navarre completed its season on Dec. 2, with a 34-33, triple-overtime loss at Tallahassee Lincoln in a region final game.
Included on the East roster are quarterback Colton Kane, wide receiver Joel Beauchemin, strong safety Gio Randolph, linebacker Chris Stapleton, defensive end Chris Anderson, offensive linemen Troy Fletcher and Dylan Unterbrink, and defensive lineman Andrew Garcia, all of whom played critical roles in the Raiders’ 11-2 season.
