NYSA approves adult co-ed softball league

Heather Kelly did her homework before meeting with the Navarre Youth Sports Association board at its monthly meeting July 14.
Kelly asked the board to establish an adult co-ed softball league, presented the board with a budget, schedule and tournament fundraiser request and even volunteered to make improvements to the field. The board voted unanimously to accept Kelly’s proposal and appointed her commissioner of the new league.
