Nineteen Raiders compete in regional track meet

Nineteen Navarre High School track and field athletes earned a trip to regional competition at Chiles High School in Tallahassee following the District 1-3A championship meet dominated by host Pine Forest on April 21.

The Navarre boys’ team placed third with 100 points, well behind Pine Forest’s 168 and runner-up Washington’s 138. The Lady Raiders could only manage a fourth-place finish with 88.5 points, well off Pine Forest’s winning pace. The Eagles amassed 206 points. To qualify for regional competition, athletes must finish fourth or better leveling district competition.
