Emily Pettigrew used her bat and pitching arm to lead Navarre High School to a 14-4 softball win over Pine Forest on Thursday, March 12. The following day, visiting Gulf Breeze hurler Allison Milam struck out 13 to lead the Dolphins to a 6-1 victory against the Lady Raiders.

The loss to Gulf Breeze left Navarre in third place in District 1-4A with 3-4 mark against district foes and three district games left to play. Navarre’s overall record is 5-7. Milton is undefeated in district play while Gulf Breeze is second with two losses to the front-running Lady Panthers.
