Songwriter Festival to bring music, money to Navarre

The inaugural Navarre Beach Songwriter Festival is expected to light up both the stages and the local cash registers this weekend. Local real estate market rising, but bumps still expected

The real estate market is on the upswing both in Navarre and across the state of Florida. Adam Muller, vice president of Metro Market Trends, discussed the market overview of Navarre and Navarre Beach at a recent Navarre Area Board of Realtors (NABOR) luncheon and said the local area has had positive growth overall, but has not completely recovered. Sheriff Hall pursues school resource officer funding

Santa Rosa voters might soon have an opportunity to decide if there will be a tax designated for school safety during the next election. Sheriff Wendell Hall appeared before Santa Rosa County commissioners May 9, seeking permission to apply for a federal grant to help fund 9 resources officers for local schools.
