The Pensacola Sports Association on Sunday announced that the Florida College System Activities Association will hold its Women’s Fast Pitch Softball Championship tournament in Pensacola May 3-5.

Donald Lutz is headed to the big leagues. The Cincinnati Reds announced today that the 24-year-old Lutz has been called up from the Double-A affiliate Pensacola Blue Wahoos to replace outfielder Chris Heisey, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained hamstring.
