Open government champion Mike Hill wins special election primary

Mike Hill, president and founder of the Northwest Florida Tea Party, scored a victory in the May 14 primary special election for the House District 2 seat. Hill earned the top Republican spot and will face Democratic challenger Jeremy Lau in the June 11 general election to fill the late Clay Ford’s Florida House District 2 seat.
