Navarre High School’s baseball Raiders held on to beat Escambia 4-3 March 8 and had the go-ahead runs on base in gut-wrenching losses to Pace, 4-2, and Milton, 6-5, Friday and Saturday. The loss at Milton left Navarre with a 4-5 record overall, 2-4 against District 1-5A competition.

Raiders, Alex Herman and Madison Rodwell, were chosen to play in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association Soccer All-Star Game in Ocala, Florida, on March 4 and 5.

Pace won first place finishes in the three lowest weight classes in an away meet held on March 7. However, the Raiders dominated the other weight categories, capturing first place finishes in six of the remaining seven weight divisions. The surge allowed the Raiders to win the meet by a score of 51 to 39.
