Due to the large amounts of rain that we have had in Navarre Park this afternoon and more rain is expected later this evening, The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has made the decision to cancel tonight's Thursdays in the Park concert.

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office investigators are currently working cases involving a group of (5) black females who shop lifted several hundred dollars worth of liquor from local liquor stores in Navarre and in Gulf Breeze.

Amores to be extradited to Mississippi

Maximo Amores, 35, the driver of the Lexus that killed two Santa Rosa County residents on July 14 in Gadsden County, is in the custody of the Florida Highway Patrol and has been processed for extradition to Mississippi to face charges of breaking parole, according the to the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
