UPDATED: County issues mandatory evacuation

Santa Rosa County officials have issued a mandatory evacuation order for Evacuation Zones A & B including all mobile homes, RV parks, campgrounds, those living in low-lying areas and all of Navarre Beach beginning at 8 a.m. Aug. 27.

County to appoint RESTORE council

During tomorrow morning’s board meeting, Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners is supposed to appoint a 10 person local council to compile and prioritize potential projects that will be funded with future RESTORE Act money.
