Hurlburt Field aircraft makes hard landing in Alabama

A PC-12 from the 1st Special Operations Wing at Hurlburt Field made a hard landing at a civilian airfield in Selma, Ala. at approximately 2:15 p.m. Feb. 9.
The crew was on a training mission, and none of the three personnel on board the aircraft were injured. The PC-12 is a leased trainer aircraft used by the 1st SOW to train air crews in intra-theater support for special operations forces. A board of officers will investigate the incident. Additional details will be released as they become available.
