As part of the City’s Downtown Streetscape Project, Gulf Power and City crews will be doing demolition work to remove power poles. Along the north side of Miracle Strip Parkway, between Florida Place and Brooks Street on Wednesday, Feb. 11 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. the outside, westbound lane will have intermittent lane closures during this period. Motorists are reminded to use extra caution when traveling through the work zone, observe the traffic control warnings and be courteous to the construction crews and other motorists.
