Okaloosa County Sheriff’s investigators are asking for help identifying a man who robbed the Publix Pharmacy in Destin about 12:15 p.m. Jan. 29.

According to reports, a white man entered the Publix Supermarket at 4425 Commons Drive and hopped over the pharmacy counter. He told the pharmacy attendant that he had a gun, then took several bottles of Hydrocodone and placed them in a black gym bag. The suspect was described as muscular, about 6 feet tall, and was wearing a dark toboggan knit cap, gray-hooded Yankees sweatshirt, dark-colored cargo shorts and tennis shoes.

Information about the incident or the suspect could earn a cash reward of up to $1,000.
