Updated information on the construction of the new Navarre Beach pier is now available on the county’s Web site at www.santarosa.fl.gov under “what’s hot” or can be accessed directly at www.santarosa.fl.gov/navarre/pier.html.  

Posted information includes a one-page fact sheet detailing the pier’s features and design, an artist rendering, and selected sheets from the construction drawings.  

The final permits for the pier were issued to Santa Rosa County on Dec. 2.  Construction of the project will go out for bid in January and the bid is expected to be awarded in March. The new pier is anticipated to take 12 to 16 months to complete.
