Cold weather shelter to open

A cold weather shelter for the homeless will open Saturday, Dec. 6, at Ferris Hill Baptist Church, 6848 Chaffin Street in Milton.
Doors of the shelter will open Saturday evening, receiving guests from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and closing at 7 a.m. Sunday.  No one will be admitted after 8:30 p.m. unless brought in by law enforcement.
