Cold weather shelter opens Monday

A  cold weather shelter for the homeless will open Monday, Dec. 1, at Ferris Hill Baptist Church, 6848 Chaffin St. in Milton.
Doors of the shelter will open Monday evening, receiving guests from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and closing at 7 a.m on Tuesday.  No one will be admitted after 8:30 p.m. unless brought in by law enforcement.
