Broxson withdraws drilling bill

Rep. Doug Broxson, R-Midway, has withdrawn House Bill 431 that sought to develop oil and gas resources in the Blackwater River State Forest.

 Broxson filed the bill on Jan. 22 to guarantee safety, protect the environment and increase financial benefit for  the state and Panhandle according to his news release.
