An Airman assigned to the 1st Special Operations Wing was found deceased Jan. 8 in Troy, Mont.
According to a Hurlburt press release, Senior Airman Dalton Mossey, an electrical systems apprentice of 1st Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, honorably completed his military service commitment and was on leave transitioning from the Air Force at the time of his death.
"Team Hurlburt is saddened by the loss of Airman Mossey," said Col. Jim Slife, commander of 1st SOW. "We share in the sorrow of his family and friends during this most difficult time."
The cause of his death is currently under investigation.
