Woman arrested for battery and burglary

Kaysea Waite, 25, of Gulf Breeze was arrested Dec. 24 for domestic violence battery, criminal mischief and burglary after trying to deliver Christmas presents to her children.

Waite said she was dropped off by a friend at the residence so she could deliver presents for the children she has with the complainant. The complainant stated that Waite came over unexpectedly and began arguing with him and walking around the residence to try to gain entry. He told the deputy that he heard something break and found the guest bedroom window broken. He walked outside to tell dispatch where Waite was located when she began pushing her way into the house and punching him. Based on statements, Waite was arrested and transported to Santa Rosa County Jail and held without bond. According to an arrest report, she was also arrested for DUI.
