FDOT closes Grady Tolbert

 Grady Tolbert Road off of State Road 87 in Santa Rosa County will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10 through 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12. 

The temporary closure will allow crews to install new drainage pipes and structures in association with the State Road 87 multilane project. Traffic seeking access to Grady Tolbert Road will utilize Nelson Road and Holley Point Road. Variable message boards have been placed to notify residents and motorists of the road closure and detour.      

Construction activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone and to obey the posted speed limit.
