Gulf Breeze carjacking culprits caught

Three men were arrested March 11 in Pensacola for their involvement in an armed carjacking in Gulf Breeze the day before.

According to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office press release, Marquis D. Jenkins, 18, Kardale L. Black, 22, and Malcolm M. Wright, 18, all of Pensacola, were found at a Pensacola hotel with the stolen vehicle about 6:30 a.m.

The victim was washing his truck at Gulf Breeze Car Wash around 7 p.m. March 11 when he was approached by three black males who asked him for a cigarette. The report stated that the three men began to “circle” the victim.
