Fat Albert flies high

 

Navarre Press writer Joanna Hammond and special guest Flat Stanley prepare to board the Blue Angels C-130 Hercules known as Fat Albert.

The Blue Angels C-130 Hercules known as Fat Albert flew a very special visitor on Nov. 11. Navarre Press writer Joanna Hammond escorted Stanely on the flight where they both experienced zero gravity and more than 2 Gs of force. 

Naval Air Station Pensacola hosts the Blue Angels in their homecoming air show celelbrating 100 years of Naval Aviation. 

The airshow runs Saturday Nov.12. The gates open at 8 a.m. and flights begin at 9. The Blue Angels are schedule to begin flying at 2 p.m.
