A Gulf Breeze man is listed in critical condition at Baptist Hospital, when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car Sunday.
Kenneth Eugene Daniels, 58, lost his balance veering to attempt to avoid a car driven by Debra Lynn Moore, 45, of Navarre shortly after 1 p.m. Oct. 16.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol press release, Moore was traveling southbound on Green Brian Parkway when she attempted to cross both westbound and eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 98.
She "failed to observe (Daniels) approaching," as she crossed the highway.
Daniels swerved to avoid Moore, but the front of his motorcycle struck the right side of Moore's car.
Moore was taken to Baptist Hospital for treatment of series injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
Daniels was also wearing his helmet.
Moore was citied for failing to yield to the right of way, driving with an expired driver's license longer than six months, and driving with an expired registration tag longer than six months.
