Navarre High School student charged with battery on an officer

Navarre High School student Michael Conor McGuire, 17, was charged with three felony counts of battery of an officer, possession of weapon on school property and resisting an officer with violence.

According to the Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office report, Deputy Jamey Kahalley saw McGuire at a Sept. 9 NHS football game grabbing another male and throwing him into the fence next to the track. Kahalley warned McGuire to stop or he would have to leave the event.
“He told me I couldn’t talk to him and gave the ‘Hail Hitler’ salute and walked away from me,” the report stated. McGuire continued to walk by Kahalley giving the Hitler salute and using loud profanity. Later he walked by the deputy again and pulled down his pants to his knees to expose what appeared to be his underwear, according to Kahalley.
